Title: Auto Attendant doesn't accept key press
Post by: crazyToronto on October 06, 2011, 10:12:01 AM
Hi.

I am using Obi110 with Freephoneline as my SIP provider. Incoming and outcoming calls are OK.

When I get into Auto Attendant no matter which key I press -- 1, 2 or 3 it just ignores it as if I didn't press anything. So after three times of prompt it goes on to call my home phone.

I tried with my cell and office phone and all behave the same.

Anything I missed?

thanks,

Has the OBi been updated to the latest firmware?

crazyToronto,

I had similar issue with my Freephoneline acct. Try changing setting to Inband. Freephoneline dosen't seem to like any other setting.

ITSP Profile A or B->General->DTMFMethod->Inband

Great. Will upgrade fireware tonight and change the setting as per advice.

Thanks QBZappy and RonR.

If changing the DTMF method to Inband makes the Auto Attendant work, make sure it doesn't break DTMF access to other places.  Inband often doesn't work with anyone using Asterisk systems, which is widely used.

Hi. it now works after I update the firmware. I don't have to do the profile change at all.

Again thanks RonR and QBZappy for your prompt responses.
