Title: Outgoing call block: all area codes but local?
Post by: blueman2 on January 09, 2020, 12:02:25 PM
I am currently using call blocking for my elderly parents. I have {(Mblock):} in my outbound call route, and then list numbers in User Defined Digit Map named 'block'.  Works fine, but only for specific numbers. I now want to block all area codes except for local one.  Rather than adding a block for every area code there is, can I block all area codes except for 757?  What would that format look like?

Would {@.[^757]xxxxxxx} do the trick in the User Defined Digit Map 'block'?

Only route area code 757 and everything else will fail by default. Delete Mblock from the digit map and outbound route.

Change the ITSP Profile A DigitMap to:
(1757xxxxxxx|<1>757xxxxxxx|911)
