Title: Trusted Callers are not getting the Auto Attendant
Post by: UpUpAir on January 21, 2020, 09:50:10 AM
I added my mobile phone number to Trusted Callers

When I call my Obi/Google Voice # I am expected to get the Auto Attendant however it just rings and eventually goes to voice mail.

Something to do with CallerID?

Thanks, I swear I looked it up first before asking.

Unfortunately, my  voicemail access was already set to NO.

Any other thoughts?

Log into your GV account

Click on Legacy Google voice
Click on the Gear Icon and select Settings
Click Edit under your cell number
Click Show Advanced Settings
Under Voicemail Access select No

Perhaps you are blocking your mobile phone's outbound caller ID by default?  Are you calling directly from your mobile phone's native carrier number, and NOT your Google Voice number via the Google Voice app?

I don't use the AA, but I recall experimenting with it, and running into your issue - it unfortunately doesn't have a "do what I meant" feature, and it expects to see the exact inbound caller ID.

GV sends a CallerID with a "+" prefix. The Trusted Caller setup didn't include the "+" for GV trunks. I don't know if this was fixed. Check by using OBi Expert and assuming GV is on SP1 go to:

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute

If it contains a rule something like:
{(x.8005551212):aa}

Change it to:
{(+18005551212):aa}
