Title: QoS settings for D-Link DGL-4500 Router
Post by: CountryBumkin on October 08, 2011, 12:29:48 PM
I have some complaints/comments from family that the OBi device drops calls from time-to-time or has line noise (popping, hissing, etc.). The problem only seems to happen when the Internet is being used at the same time.

I think setting up my routers QoS might help. I could give VoIP top priority. My problem is that I don't know how to set it up. I hope someone here can help.

My setup choices are:
1) Protocol (TCP, UDP, Both, ICMP, Other)
2) Local IP Range (from XXXX to XXXX) -- Is this the static IP address I assigned to the OBi on my LAN?  ???
3) Local Port Range (from XXXX to XXXX)
4) Remote IP Range (from xxxx to xxxx)
5) Remote Port Range. (from xxxx to xxxxx)

Thanks for your time and assistance.
