i have a google voice account that i didn't pick a number before i set up obi110. so when i called att for something, their automatic computer told me a number with an area code of 706, i think.

now i already picked up a google voice number, so when i call att again, i can't get their computer to tell me that number again.

so what kind of number was that?

Google Voice accounts without an incoming number assigned show an outbound CallerID of : (760) 705-8888

That's simply the way Google has it set up.

oh, that is good to know. i thought that i have a special secret google number. ;)
