Title: Incoming Line Determination
Post by: lexluthor on May 12, 2020, 07:08:50 AM
I have an OBi200 with 4 lines in use.  Is there any way to determine which line was called when a call rings in on my analog device?

Does your phone have CLI display of the calling number? If yes you can make your OBi prepend, say 1:, 2: etc, to it.

Otherwise you are limited to setting a different ring cadence for each Voice Service.

Yes, I have caller ID on the phone, but I'd implement both solutions.

Are there simple instructions for both?  I did a quick search and looks a bit complicated, nothing I can't do, but I want to make sure I'm using the latest instructions.

Nothing has changed and each really only has one way to implement so go with the instructions you have found. Especially if they were written by posters here with a high post count.
