Title: Changes to SIP Ports not sticking
Post by: AlexW on May 26, 2020, 12:13:20 PM
My firmware is 3.2.2 (Build: 5921EX)

A couple weeks ago, my Obi 202 stopped registering with voip.ms. My other connections (to Gvoice and Anveo 911) are working fine.

Opening up the admin panel, I noticed that the Proxy Server Port and Registrar Service Port for my voip.ms connections were displaying the defaults. I changed them to the appropriate port (42872), clicked Submit, and then Reboot.

The good news is that after the reboot it connected to voip.ms just fine -- for about 20 seconds.

Then it seemed to reboot itself a second time on its own, and when I checked the defaults were restored. :(

I've tried this several times. Same result. (See screenshots)

What am I doing wrong?

You are making the changes on the website provided by the Obi device instead of the config panel at the www.obitalk.com

Changes that you make locally will be overwritten by the configuration stored at www.obitalk.com

I knew I must be missing something like that. It's been a long time since I set up my Obi.  Fixed. Thank you for your help, Steve!
