Title: Possible malware on 202, how to remove?
Post by: netclift on June 15, 2020, 02:15:21 PM
I have a new Gryphon router with some built in malware monitoring.

It has reported two malware issues with my Obi 202. It says my device tried to access propu.sh "threat level 3" and "18videofullhd.info" threat level 5.

One factor - I am now routing one of my computers through that option on the device, so it is possible that could be a factor. However, I didn't get such warnings before when that computer was connected directly.

So, how do I check this further? Remove malware if on the Obi 202?

I very much doubt that your OBi is responsible but why have you not done the obvious check?

Disconnect the computer that is accessing through the OBi and see if the router is still giving the warnings.  Then unplug the OBi, connect the computer in its place and consult the router again.  The two results should convince you one way or the other.
