Use your Superman X-ray vision to peek inside the flash memory chip. :)
Alternatively, follow the instructions to do a manual update. Either that will succeed or you'll be informed that the version already installed is the same.
Or use the first parts of those instructions to log in locally. Then navigate to Status, System Status.
As I was told by SteveINWA
"or, pick up the phone attached to the device, and key in ***0 then 1# to hear the version number. It's 3.2.2.8680 for the 200, 212 and 202."
