Title: IP address on firmware setup procedure
Post by: srobel on November 14, 2021, 12:02:55 PM
I have a OBi 200 and have reviewed the steps for updating the firmware, but am stuck at step 2 because I cannot get the IP address when using ***1 and connected to my WAN port

Network Status - Your IP address in not available your DHCP is enabled

What could I be doing wrong?

Check that the ethernet cable between OBi200 and your router is firmly plugged in at both ends.  Remove power to the router for 30 seconds.  Wait two minutes and then remove power to the OBi200 for 30 seconds. A few seconds later the leftmost LED of the OBi should be steady green.  Try ***1.

If still getting the same unavailable message, use a different ethernet cable plugged into a different LAN socket on the router and repeat the above power disconnections of router and OBi.
