Title: How to set up ObiWiFi?
Post by: DMVer on February 06, 2022, 11:46:08 AM
I have Obi 200, ObiWiFi, and phone, everything was set up a few years ago. It has been working for years. Recently, I changed internet plan and router, and also changed SSID/password.

Now I completely forgot how to connect ObiWiFi to router again.

Thanks.

Actually, I found this link earlier: https://www.obitalk.com/info/faq/OBiWiFi-sec/How-do-I-set-up-OBiWiFi (https://www.obitalk.com/info/faq/OBiWiFi-sec/How-do-I-set-up-OBiWiFi), also appearing on your link.

The issue is: I don't understand below step (step 2). ObiWiFi is connected to Obi200, and Obi200 is connected to phone, it has nothing to do with computer. Anyway, I could not find network called OBiWiFi_Setup. Now ObiWiFi is not connected to router at all.

2. From a WiFi enabled device, e.g. computer, tablet or smart phone, open its network settings and connect to a WiFi network called "OBiWiFi_Setup". Your browser-equipped device will automatically connect to the OBiWiFi_Setup network.

Ok, set up correctly now. I think I should connect Obi200 directly to router first, as video shown at 0:10
