Title: Connecting Polycom2182 to Panasonic phone
Post by: rajsenthi on April 06, 2022, 03:18:57 PM
Hello all, my OBI200 failed after many years working good and I bought Polycom 2182 https://www.poly.com/za/en/support/product/obi2182 (https://www.poly.com/za/en/support/product/obi2182)  to replace it. It is working good but the phone jack that I got to connect my normal is not available in this polycom 2182 model. Please let me know, if there is any way to connect or have a bridge between this Polycom 2182 and Panasonic phone.

Regards,
Senthil

P.S: After many years, the capacitor in OBI200 near the input power became non-working.

There is no way to connect directly with any kind of cord.

Might be possible if the Panasonic phone is one of the Bluetooth equipped models that can connect to a cellphone/mobile phone.

Possible if you have a working OBi ATA such as an OBi200. But then you might not even need the 2182.

How do you know that capacitor is the problem in your OBi200?  If it really is, it is easily replaced by any half-competent electronics repair person.
