Title: How to limit the Auto Attendant
Post by: ProfTech on November 24, 2011, 02:07:48 PM
I have 6 numbers configured in speed dial. When the AA says "Press 2 to place a call" I would like to limit the user to dialing the speed dial numbers 1 thru 6. Is there any way to do this? I tried the simple mask ([1-6]) but when I press any of the six buttons it keeps telling me the key press is invalid. Can this be done? I don't want to allow the user to dial out long distance.

Voice Services -> Auto Attendant -> DigitMap : ([1-6])

Speed Dials 1 through 6 have to be entered in TK format:

User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 1 : SP1(18005551212)
User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 2 : SP2(18005551212)
User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 3 : LI(18005551212)
User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 4 : PP(ob222222222)
User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 5 : TG1(18005551212)
User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 6 : SP1(18005551212)

Thanks Ron. I guessed that might be the issue after I posted. Thanks again.
