Title: Has the call waiting feature bugginess been resolved?
Post by: otherwhirl on December 05, 2011, 01:48:49 AM
Just wondering if there's been a fix for the call waiting feature. Everytime i've ever gotten another call while on the phone, when I click over it just totally hangs up on the original caller and of course I never connect with the 2nd caller at all.

Help :-\

I'm not sure about Google Voice but I use Callcentric and haven't had any problem with call waiting in Version 1.3 build 2651. Working fine.

I use GoogleVoice. I was having the same problem too and I traced it to how I would normally flash the call. I was either pressing the flash button too briefly or too long. When done too quickly, Obi would ignore it as a glitch. When done too slowly, Obi would consider it an on-hook followed by a off-hook and disconnect the caller.
