Title: Need To Modify Dial String
Post by: dwh367 on December 22, 2022, 05:04:04 PM
I have an Obi302.  I'm only using two of the 4 ports.  Port 1 goes to my VOIP provider. Port 2 goes to a private PBX.  For my VOIP provider I just dial the 10 digit number. For the PBX I dial **2 and then the extension. Some genius decided they could future proof the PBX by switching over to 10 digit extensions.  Now when I dial **2 (and the 10 digit extension) my Obi tells me the call cannot be completed. Does anyone have any idea how to modify the dial string so the **2 (10 digit extension) will go through?

To route calls with **2 followed by 10 digits:
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> DigitMap: (xxxxxxxxxx)

That fixed it.  Thank you and Merry Christmas!
