Title: Call Forwarding Connection OK but No Audio but the AA works properly
Post by: Konrad on November 05, 2023, 06:53:21 PM
This is not a problem of OBI200 but only of this one provaider
This problem is generally known to most and concerns Asterisk.
So far I haven't been able to find a solution.
However, since AA is working properly, I have the following question:
Is it possible to set AA so that the caller does not have an announcement or does not have to press 1 for AA to transfer to my mobile phone.
All incoming numbers, outgoing from AA only one, my cell phone.

This can be done, but with a long delay. The AA waits for a response after the prompt. If it doesn't get a response, it prompts 2 more times with a wait after each. You can eliminate the prompts, but not the waits. I don't remember how long the waits are. You can then route the call with a modified AA Outbound Route.

You can have a custom greeting "Please wait while we transfer your call".

Did you try having your OBi200 transfer the call without the AA?

Yes of course, just like in the title: "Call Forwarding Connection OK but No Audio"
As you wrote, I set a custom greeting "Please press one to transfer you to James".
I also have a second option - transfer at the provider level, but it costs me $0.01 per minute from Europe to Canada,
which is not too much of a burden for me.
