Title: How to place two simultaneous calls using Obi110
Post by: Amin on January 03, 2012, 02:37:47 PM
I have two GV accounts connected to my device. Is there any way that I can use the two numbers for placing calls simultaneously? Apparently, I can hook up two phones to the device.

Thank you!

The OBi supports single-line telephones only.  Call Waiting and Call Conferencing is supported.  You cannot connect multiple telephones and have them in use independently.

It is possible to connect additonal/independent telephones using a SIP ATA or server such as Asterisk, but this involves considerable more complexity.

As RonR said, you can connect only one analog phone to the OBi.  However, if you have a SIP IP phone, unlocked adapter from another provider, softphone, or smartphone app, it's not all that hard to configure it to place calls through the OBi.
