Title: OBIHAI + Google Voice + Localphone
Post by: Bajji on February 01, 2012, 12:12:31 PM
I have a Google voice configured via OBIHAI as my primary US landline.

All US calls(OBIHAI device + Googlevoice) work fine in this combination. (no localphone)

Any international call (via localphone) originating from my google voice number is dropped within a minute.. It works fine when the localphone call originates from my cell phone. This eats up my cell minutes and I'm very frustrated.

Would you suggest a solution.

I'm open to setting up the OBIHAI SIP device to connect to localphone directly. Would you guide me..

It should be as easy as setting:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> Name : Localphone
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : localphone.com
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : (sip username)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : (sip password)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : (callerid name)

If you configure the OBi directly (as opposed to using the OBiTALK Web Portal), you must also set:

System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> ITSP Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> OBiTALK Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
