Title: Inbound Call Route Question
Post by: ATW136 on February 06, 2012, 01:49:58 PM
New Obi110.
I just upgraded to the latest firmware that came out at the end of January.
Using two Google Voice connections, SP1 and SP2

I wanted to forward all incoming GV calls on SP1 to a different phone number.

1. Setup SP1 Inbound Call Route to {SP1(1231231234)} using ObiExpert on ObiTalk.  It wouldn't work.
2. Then, went into the Web Server-Based Local Configuration screen for the Obi and issued Reboot command but made no other changes in that screen.  The Inbound Call Route then worked correctly.

Question: What did I miss in ObiExpert to get the Inbound Call Route change to propagate to the Obi?

The OBiTALK Web Portal is apparently not propagating changes to the OBi properly according to reports from other users.  Unless you absolutely need the remote configuration capability of the OBiTALK Web Portal (for which there are other alternatives), it's easier and more reliable to configure the OBi directly.
