Title: RingTimeout > 1920 (Ring Detection for GE Cell Fusion Gateway)
Post by: Sreejith on February 07, 2012, 07:32:40 PM
Hi, got my OBi110 and attempting to set up with GE Cell Fusion bluetooth gateway to talk to my cell phone. The ring detection fails, and I think it is because the gap between two rings is slightly more than 1920 ms. In fact it detects the ring, but after every ring, it feels like the line is On Hook.

Is there a hack or tweak where I can increase RingTimeout to slightly higher value? Say around 2500 ms?

You can look at this thread, where one user successfully installed
GE Cell Fusion:

You can post questions to him for further details

You can't set "RingTimeout" higher than value of 1920

Please read carefully - the user never said he had success with obi talking to GE Cell Fusion. He just said he used it for replacing land lines. The thread is about XLink.
