Title: Can I have two OBI110 running off my router ?
Post by: dusterdoo on February 07, 2012, 08:21:32 PM
Set up a new OBI110 from following this guide...

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/government/google-voice-a-cheapskates-guide-to-cheap-voip/10500?tag=content;siu-container

.. and it works well. I also have my Google Voice number on my Iphone (Google Voice app).

Everything seems to work well .

I have TWO Google Voice number, can I run two OBI110 off my home router ? Or should I get a OBI100, or does it matter ?

Thanks!

An OBi100 or an OBi110 can accomodate two Google Voice accounts.  The only difference between the two units is the OBi110 also supports a PSTN Line whereas the OBi100 does not.

Thanks! I have my current phone connected to the PHONE port, I assume the second goes into LINE...

Is there a tutorial link I can learn how to work the second Google Voice phone number into my OBI110 ?

You can only connect single-line telephones to the PHONE Port.

The LINE Port is meant to connect to a POTS (PSTN) line, not a telephone.

Once Google Voice account gets configured on the SP1 Service and the other on the SP2 Service.

The only real documentation is the OBi Device Administration Guide (http://www.obihai.com/docs/OBiDeviceAdminGuide.pdf).
