Title: Direct Dialling from a Obitalk Android client
Post by: singho on February 26, 2012, 09:02:19 AM
I have a OBI 110 running 1.3.0 (Build: 2675).
Also downloaded and installed the OBi Android App OBiON ver. 1.2.1(630)

I have two lines configured for OBI110.

In my speed dial, I have some numbers as **21xxxYYYzzzz.

Whenever I dial the above number from the Android Soft Client, the Auto Attendant associated with my account picks up.

It asks me to press 1 to continue with the call.

If I press 1, the phone attached to the OBI110 rings, it does not dial out using the second line.

How can I dial out using the second line directly from the soft client ?

The Auto Attendant 'Press 1 to continue this call" option is intended to ring the OBi PHONE Port.

The OBi configuration generated by the OBiTALK Web Portal is very limited and only supports making calls from OBiON Apps using the OBi's PrimaryLine trunk.

To be able to make calls from OBiON Apps using any trunk on the OBi, you will need to use a configuration such as:

Single-Stage Dialing Through Any OBi Trunk (http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=1103.0)

or

Single-Stage Dialing Through Any OBi Trunk Using SIP (http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=2454.0)

Thanks Ron. Having come in from using a Sipura/PAP2 for the past 6+ years, understanding the complex digit map of OBi is still taking time :(
