I have bought this new OBi110 from Amazon, I am trying to "Add device" using obihai.com website, but it doesn't seem tobe working.
I could access obi110 via local network i.e., 192.168.1.xxx without any issue.
I did Autoprovisioning and enabled fireware upgrade also
When I dial **9 222-222-222, it says it can't reach.
Not sure if there is a hardware issue.

Try temporarily connecting the OBi directly to your modem, bypassing your router. Power-cycle both the modem and the OBi after making the direct connection. After waiting sufficient time for both units to get booted up, try **9 222 222 222 again.
It works when connected directly to modem. It doesn't work when I connect to firewall.

Then the problem is likely with your router/firewall and not the OBi.
What router/firewall are you using?
As a temporary fix, you might try setting the DMZ address to the OBI's LAN address.
