All,
I have an OBi202 and it provides a very simple and intuitive way to configure routing using the Phone Port Configuration Summary in the dashboard. It allows me to configure which provider is being used for each phone line.
However, I was wondering if there is a way to define some advanced routing. For example, I want to use SP1 if I make calls to India (+91), use SP2 for calls to UK (+44), and use Google Voice SP3 for calls to USA (+1). It will be nice to be able to specify such routing for each of the phone lines. Sipsorcery used to provide such services, but I guess the OBi should be able to achieve the same.
Any thoughts..
Regards
Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port x -> Primary Line : SP3 Service
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile C -> General -> DigitMap:
(<1aaa>[2-9]xxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|1xxxxxxxxxx|011xx.|<**1>01191xx.|<**2>01144xx.)
where aaa is your local area code.
7/10/11 digits -> SP3
01191+ -> SP1
01144+ -> SP2
011+ -> SP3
Just so that I understand, here's my current digit map:
(*xx|1xxxxxxxxxx|<1814>[2-9]xxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.)
where 814 is my local area code. What does the (Mipd)|[^*]@@. part do?
ipd (referenced by Mipd) is a User Defined DigitMap for handling IP dialing: **218005551212*76*10*223*207
[^*]@@. is for handling SIP URI's from Speed Dials : **218005551212@sip.tollfreegateway.com
Neither of these are relevant to Google Voice and should be removed. If you simpy replace the existing SP3 DigitMap with the one I posted, you should be good to go.
