Title: Caller ID of calls transferred via Google Voice
Post by: sachinj on May 13, 2012, 07:50:00 AM
Hi,

I have set up Obi110 with Google voice on SP1 and local PSTN in the line port in India. I have also setup so that when certain people from India call the local PSTN line they would be presented with option 1 and 2. With option number 2, they can call my cell number in the US. When I receive these calls in US, the caller ID is of the Google voice number. Is there a way by which the caller ID of the calling person from India can be forwarded to my cell phone so that I know who is calling?

Thanks.

Sachin

Outgoing calls made through Google Voice always carry the Google Voice number as the CallerID.  This is a Google Voice restriction and cannot be changed.
