Post by: jerme on May 22, 2012, 04:12:17 AM
I've updated the firmware on my OBi202 to v3.0.0 (Build 3180M) but can't find a change log anywhere on the net.  Where can i find this information?

The changes for this firmware are not listed. I think it was to add support for the wifi adapter that was just released

Although it's not specifically mentioned anywhere, I believe that a minor issue involving call transfers and Asterisk was fixed (so that when possible the transfer is handled by Asterisk and not looped through the Obihai device, using two channels for the duration of the call.  Of course, on transfers between different servers or technologies, e.g. transferring an OBiTALK network call to another Asterisk extension, the call still has to go through the Obihai device, but now if you receive a call that comes from Asterisk and you transfer it to another Asterisk extension, the Obihai device can drop out of the connection and let Asterisk do the work).
