I can receive my voicemail through dialing the access code, but any commands I type are ignored. For example,
to erase a message I'm supposed to press 7, but that does nothing. Hard to know if it's a callcentric issue or an obihai issue (e.g. not transmitting the tone).

Could be a setting here that you may need to change. Try "InBand":

Thanks. Setting DTMF to RFC2833 seems to have solved the problem.
