Title: Obi110 setup with GV & SIP with multiple local area codes
Post by: peterman on June 21, 2012, 12:48:31 PM
HI, I want to setup the Obi110 with GV (sp1) for all area codes (without dialing 1 for LD) and I have a sip account(sp2) that I want to use for 3 local area codes xxx, yyy, xxx. Whenever I call xxx,yyy or zzz I want obi110 to use sp2 otherwise use sp1(GV) and automatically add 1 so I do not have to put 1 befor the number.
Any help will be appreciated.
NB: I only make North America calls with the device.

To use 3 area codes to go out sp2, try adding this to the beginning of:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> DigitMap:

(<**2>1?aaaxxxxxxx|1?bbbxxxxxxx|

so the DigitMap looks something like:

(<**2>1?aaaxxxxxxx|1?bbbxxxxxxx|1?cccxxxxxxx|<1yyy>[2-9]xxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.)

where aaa, bbb, ccc are the added area codes and yyy is your oun area code for 7 digit dialing.

Thanks N7AS,

But do I need to change the digimap of both profile A(GV) & B (sip) ?

(<**2>1?aaaxxxxxxx|1?bbbxxxxxxx|

What does the ? preceding the area code do to the DigitMap?

It's so you can dial with or without a preceding 1 in the dialed number.
