Title: How to connect Obi110 wireless
Post by: Frankfone on July 06, 2012, 05:08:45 PM
This works great. I've tested it.

You need and old D-Link Gaming Adapter model DWL-G820 ( Other Wi-Fi adapters may work, but this is what I use to test it.

You may use the adapter's wizard to configure it.

You can install now the Obi110 anywhere in you house.

Great tip Frankfone, thanks for sharing!

Looking at the description on Amazon, I see that adapter is only 802.11g. I just upgraded my wireless router to 802.11n and now my Obi110/GV calls seem to work much better. I'm wondering if there is a similar wireless adapter that runs 802.11n that would work?  Anyone know?

I have 2 obi110s connected to a router that is connected to another routher using WDS.  Can't really tell the difference between wire and wireless connection.
