Title: Trying to invoke aa, getting busy signal
Post by: mrjoe on July 24, 2012, 12:07:26 PM
I have an Obi110

I'd like to use SP2 solely as an Auto Attendant.
I will not give people the number and use it for calling out via SP1 only.

I put "aa" in the inbound call route of SP2
and SP1 as the default like in Auto Attendant.

when I call the number all I get is a busy signal.

Please can someone help me

Test with SP2 InboundCallRoute set to the default of ph .  Do incoming calls ring the attached phone and connect as expected?

If not, check that there are no forwarding settings or do not disturb enabled.  If the phone still won't ring, report what, if anything, a failing incoming call shows in Call History.  If nothing, confirm that SP2 status shows Registered or Connected, and that settings at the provider are correct.

If still no luck, please post:  Who is SP1 provider?  SP2 provider?  Do SP2 outbound calls work correctly?  On failing incoming calls, what does provider's log show?  OBi Call History?
