Title: Use OBI202 strictly as a bridge
Post by: Aziz on August 06, 2012, 09:05:24 AM
Greetings,
I use OBI202 strictly as a VOIP bridge.
SP1 for Google Voice and SP2 for Callcentric.
Is there anyway to bypass the prompt "Press 2 to make a new call" when a trusted caller calls my OBI202 so he can make a call directly?
The perfect scenario would be: someone calls SP1 on OBI202 ===> hears a dial tone ===> dial a number on SP2.
Thank you!

This may work. The only way that I can think off is to to play with the limitations of the OBi and record your own IVR prompts to trick it to do what you want. This is the part that may work for you.

3) Automatically dial AA 1, 2, or 3 using prerecorded 1, 2 or 3 dial tones.

Aziz,

It is a technique I have used before. As I said in my post I have not tried it on he OBi. Can you explain how you set it up.
