Title: call forward some DID dialed numbers
Post by: Hortoristic on September 01, 2012, 08:30:37 AM
I have a few UK DIDs, some for wife, some for daughter. Is there anyway to get daughters dialed DIDs to forward through SP1 (gv) to her cell phone, and wife's leave alone and continue to ring SP2?

Try workaround with PBXes.com (http://pbxes.com) before you get OBi configured.

• Create Google Voice gateway (gvgw) account on simonics.com (http://simonics.com), maybe you need a new Google Voice account.
• Add gvgw as a trunk to PBXes
• Add an Extension, Classical Extension (101), Device Options, PSTN_Number -> your daughters cell phone number
• Add Incoming Route, username-101, Set Destination -> Extension (101)
• Add Outbound Route, gvgw, Set Destination -> Valid for all numbers
• Route UK DID -> sip:username-101@pbxes.com

Forwarding the calls to her cell on GV will loose the caller id of the original call. With that feature already gone, can you set her incoming DID to display the DID number instead of the callers number?
If so, all incoming calls on her DID will be the same number and you can then forward them easily.
