Title: X_InboundCallRoute?
Post by: pgde on September 05, 2012, 10:14:44 AM
I am using X_InboundCallRoute to assist in blocking calls. When I add the telephone number to the field in ObiTalk do I need to use the "1" in front of the area code when I type in the number (i.e. should the entry be 14805260720 or 4805260720)??

Also, which is more efficient in blocking calls  -- using the X_InboundCallRoute method or using the "blacklist" in Anveo? Do they do the same thing or is there a difference?

Thanks for your help in advance!

You must enter the number exactly as it is seen by the Obi. this is usually all 11 digits.

If your calls are coming in through Anveo then it is likely better to block the calls there.
