Title: use *5 on iPhone
Post by: wegrzyns on September 17, 2012, 07:40:38 AM
I have the OBI110, google voice as main number and a pots line on the line port.

I want to be able to dial out on the Iphone app and use the line port **8, I have that working, BUT if I try to dial *7 or *5  it says invalid number.

I have a paging system on pots line I want to use. If I pick up any phone I can dial *7 or *5 to page or talk to whos at my door.

I want to use iPhone app.  and dial **8 to use line port and dial *7 or *5

Any ideas ?

Thanks ......

Assuming you made changes to get the **8 working, then use the same method and go to:

Physical Interfaces > Line > Line Port > DigitMap

Default is this:

DigitMap (Mli)
(xxxxxxxS4|1xxxxxxxxxx|xx.)

Change to:

(*x|xxxxxxxS4|1xxxxxxxxxx|xx.)

This should allow * followed by any single digit to be dialled. From the iPhone **8*5 should work as the **8 gets removed before the *5 is sent to the Line Port.
