Hi , first let me say that this is a great forum and thanks for providing this info for new jacks like me. I tried to set up my google voice so my cell would ring whenever someone would dial my google voice number. Now my cell phone rings, but not my phone connected to obi.When I tried to disable my cell phone and go back to the old way where just obi would ring, I dont know how to. I mean beacause I have tmobile prepaid I get a message to dial ##004# from my cell. When I do that I just get a message -unable to process request. Please help ,how to disable call forwarding to my cell? Thank you.
On your google voice page.
In your forwarding phones list, google chat is your Obi.
Just check google chat and your cell phone both to have google voice ring them both.
Make sure you are not simultaneously signed into your google account with gmail, talkatone, grooveip or other similar apps.
