Title: delay in answering
Post by: Hortoristic on September 30, 2012, 07:58:00 PM
Lately when I answer gv there is an initial delay, like 1 to 2 seconds for the calling party to hear me. End up saying hello, 2 or 3 times.  Everything is excellent in talking or hearing after that though.

Recently I updated firmware and started using 202.

That's great news!  :) Mine seems better now as well.  Two things I changed were to use DTMF standard RFC duration instead of auto and switched the DNS to be 8.8.8.8 which is one of Google's public DNS servers.  My Obi110 is simple, both SP1/2 using separate G-Voice accounts.  One account from Grand Central days, after the October firmware update, I had to delete/re-add google chat as a phone in Google Voice before it would start working.  Guessing there was a depricated API or something associated with it or someother thing throwning a wrench in the works.  ???
All is good for now.
