Title: callcentric as sip on a cell phone
Post by: jimates on October 05, 2012, 11:28:14 PM
I am just playing around with different options for meaningless purposes.

I assume Callcentric can be configured on a smart phone as a sip service. Would I use sip to sis or whatever it's called?

Since Callcentric numbers can call each other for free I can have the Obi forward calls on my Callcentric service to another Callcentric number configured on my iPhone.

Give me some input.

It shouldn't be any different than configuring a softphone on a PC.

Sip to sis is for connecting with Skype. Just like Ostracus said, a normal voip softphone should do the trick.

I will try the 3CX. Callcentric has an iPhone app, but it is not for a stand alone Callcentric number. It works with an existing Callcentric number.
