I have my Google Voice number on SP1 and nothing on SP2. I would like to forward calls to a local number if I do not pick up in 4-rings. Is this possible?
I have tried the settings for SP1 below and they do not work
CallForwardOnBusyEnable checked
CallForwardOnBusyNumber 10 digit number entered
CallForwardOnNoAnswerEnable checked
CallForwardOnNoAnswerNumber 10 digit number entered
CallForwardOnNoAnswerRingCount 4 entered (I tried 2 just in case 4 was too many)
There are little red eclamations after the settings
Try entering the forwarding number as 11 digits, 11234567890
Thank you for your reply
Unfortunately it did not work with 11 digits.
Do you have any other ideas?
You should check the call history and see what it says. You can also do a test call and check the call status during the call.
To access the above you need to go into the device itself using the device's ip address. You can obtain the ip by dialing ***1 from the phone port.
With call forward set at 4 rings it is possible that google voicemail is taking the call before the Obi forwards it. Google voicemail picks up after 25 seconds from original call start, no changes can be made to that setting.
Try 3 rings and see what happens.
I changed it to 1 ring with no forward.
I put the WAN address in both with http & https and was not able to log in. Should I use the LAN address? If so how do I find it?
if you are using a Obi202 you have to enable web access.
dial ***0
enter option 30 followed by the # key
enable web access
for all Obi devices
dial ***1 and you will be given the ip address of the Obi
enter the ip addess in your brower's address bar and enter
default credentials are admin/admin
