Title: Keying in digital information
Post by: neville.wood on November 05, 2012, 06:46:59 PM
I have just started using an OBi110 with Google Voice and everything seems to be working fine except that when I key in my credit card number or my zip code for the credit card automatic service, they are not recognized.

Some systems are problematic.  A fix that may work:   Access the phone port in the OBi and change DTMFRxmode from hardware to software.   I access my OBi via its IP address, then Physical Interfaces, Phone Port, unchecked the default box, and change to Software.  Reboot and test it.

Rick:
After the first day, my problem seems to have largely disappeared with only about two out of ten failures to get the digital information recognized by my the automatic answering services from my credit card and bank services.
Thanks for your suggested fix and I will keep in my records in case it is needed in the future.
