Title: Landline question
Post by: mwahba on December 02, 2012, 11:08:37 AM
Hi,

I am unable to find an answer to the following question and I am not sure if it is possible to configure the OBI110 to do it, Here is the question: Is it possible to configure the OBi110 in such a way that if I dial the landline connected to the OBi then the automatic attendant will answer and allow me to dial on out using the Google Voice number associated with the Obi110. I know the other direction works fine using (**8 + local lines phone numbers). Thanks

Welcome to the forum  :)

Yes, that facility is available. It is called "Trusted Callers". You put numbers in a Trusted Callers list. When that number calls the OBi110 then the auto attendant answers and allows calls out on other trunks such as Google Voice.
