Title: Using IP address administration to re-set back to GV
Post by: Hortoristic on December 16, 2012, 12:56:09 PM
Ok, I know I've been on here long enough and should be able to help others on such an easy question - but I have a simple question:

I have been using Simon Gateway for caller ID, but need to reset my SP1 settings back to GV, without using the OBITALK portal, I need to do it via the IP administration area (I need auto provisioning off).

Here are the settings I think, with a question mark on one I don't know, is this all I need to revert SP1 back to using GV?

ITSP Profile A > General > SignalingProtocol > Google Voice
ITSP Profile A > SIP > ProxyServer > ??????
Voice Services > SP1 Service > SIP Credentials > AuthUserName > MyGMAILUSER
Voice Services > SP1 Service > SIP Credentials > AuthPassword > MyGMAILPassword

Leave blank. (Default)

With GoogleVoice the ITSP Profile A SIP settings are not used and would be all set to the Default setting.  The ProxyServer setting you questioned would be blank.

I believe these are the settings you would make:
ITSP Profile A-->General-->SignalingProtocol Google Voice
ITSP Profile A-->General-->X_UseFixedDurationRFC2833DTMF Check (yes)

SP1 Service--SIP Credentials-->AuthUserName (GMail Email)
SP1 Service--SIP Credentials-->AuthPassword--> (Google password)
SP1 Service--CallingFeatures-->X_SkipCallScreening Check (yes)

Thank you - this is working.  I also forwarded my GV back to CallCentric, which is my SP4 account - to give me Caller Names.

So until CC has more problems, this is working for CNAME lookup, and if/when they go down again, I can just stop forwarding it and let the SP1 GV work.
