You should not have to make any ports open normally.

OK Thanks,
When I had two OOMA's there was an elaborate setup to make them work by opening ports in my router.

Terry

With the 202 you can put the Obi on the outside of your network.  Then it can worry about QOS and you don't need to worry about ports.  I put my router in DMZ on the OBI to allow me to access it from the outside without problems.

internet<>OBI<>Router(DMZ)<>Everything else hooks to router.

so do you mean that you hook your modem into the obi and then connect obi to the router? currently i have everything hooked into my router and router to pc and am experiencing choppy calls.
