Title: FPL voicemail access issue
Post by: voiptalk on December 19, 2012, 03:23:47 PM
Hello everybody,
I have obi100 such that freephoneline.ca is configured as SP1 and GV as SP2.
I just tried dialing *98 to check the voicemail on freephoneline.ca line but I'm just getting a dialtone after dialing this star code.
Can someone please explain how to fix it or if I have to use some other star code to access the vm from the phone locally?

Thanks in advance.

Hi voiptalk, welcome to the forum.

This is a well known problem. The OBi has its own Star Codes and it is intercepting *98 for its own use rather than sending out to fpl.

You can disable all OBi Star Codes or just some of them. See here;

More ideas on this forum if your search "Star Codes".

To work with fpl you will also need to make sure that a rule such as *xx is in this DigitMap:
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> DigitMap

It was probably configured when you set up fpl as a service provider.
