Title: What causes spontaneous OBi reboots?
Post by: skipro on December 22, 2012, 08:36:14 PM
I have a new OBi 202 used 1 month. Last 5 days I am getting multiple spontaneous reboots, sometimes several in a short time. I am configured with GV only and connected wirelessly to router. Would the wireless connection have anything to do with this? I know people with Callcentric were having an issue, but I am only using GV. What causes the unit to reboot? Is the unit bad?

The unit getting a new IP address will cause a reboot. Try setting a static IP address and see if it eliminates the issue.

An FYI, the CallCentric issues seem to have gone away, no one is seeing them anymore, and I'm part of that group.
