Title: Sip/SMS
Post by: Lina on December 23, 2012, 05:26:17 PM
Can someone please explain what these 2 mean:

'SMS to SIP' and 'SIP to SMS'
Aveno describes it as = Send/Receive messages using Sip app but I still don't know what that means??

I'm looking into the Personal Unlimited Plan, and am hoping that it means I can send and receive texts on my CELL PHONE using the Obion app???

Thanks

It does not appear so.  The Obion apps don't do SMS.  Read the fine print at Anveo and it says receive only. It cost extra to send.  On Anveo it also says something about not using your number as a reply address. Google Voice lets you send and receive SMS for free.  They have an app for most phones but the Obion app doesn't support it.
