Title: PSTN Basic Setup.
Post by: sebke on December 26, 2012, 11:42:04 AM
Hello,

I have 4 OBI110 on 4 different locations and each is connected to a Line (PSTN)

I need to be able to use each location as a bridge to access local PSTN line.

For example::

From Device01 via Internet I need to call Device02, get dial tone and place a call using Device02 access to PSTN line.

Also It would be great if I can call Device01 (PSTN inbound) form my mobile and get it to dial via internet to Device02 and/or get Device02 PSTN(outbound) to allow me dialing form the remote location 02.

How can I achieve this?

Thanks!

sebke, welcome to the forum.

The first part of your question can be achieved using this method:

Single stage dialling:

The second part of your question, using your cell phone, can be included in single stage dialling if you are willing to use the OBiON app on your cell phone. The app does have some limitations. You may also wish to look at "Trusted Callers". This can give your cell phone access to the auto attendant of any of your OBi110s.
