Title: Obi110 goes offline by itself even during a call
Post by: darinf on January 06, 2013, 06:39:41 PM
My Obi110 has been very reliable. But recently, it will go offline after a few minutes when it's not being used.

I can power cycle it and it will go online fine, but then after anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, it will go offline.

Tonight I was in the middle of a call on the Obi110 and the call started breaking up and then I lost the call. The Obi110 was then offline.

I am not sure exactly when this started happening, but I did do a firmware upgrade recently. (It's been working fine for so long, I never really checked the ObiTalk web site, so the firmware update may have been from a while ago.)

How do you check the firmware version?

I do have another Obi110 that has been working reliably and still is, but at a different location.

Could it be my internet connection? I have an Ooma phone here too and that seems to be working fine.

Thanks in advance for your help,

-Darin

From a phone connected to the Obi ***0 then press 1#
This will tell you the firmware.
