Title: Spoofing Caller ID for ObiTalk calls
Post by: cjholding on January 13, 2013, 06:02:23 AM
I've been trying (in vain) to spoof the CID presented to the phone port for Obitalk calls, I'd like to prepend **9 so that a return call is directed to the right place.

The segment of my inbound call route I have to achieve this is:

{(<**9>xx.):ph($1)}

This works fine on my SP2 service (with **2 instead of **9), but incoming Obitalk calls are not spoofed.

I may be missing the point (again  :)), but if you use *69 Call Return, then the following does this for you:

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> CallReturnDigitMaps

I am attempting to make operation as seemless as possible.

My phone stores the OBiTalk number as a missed call - if someone picks up the phone and trys to phone back using that number i'd like it to just work (and be obvious where the call came from).

I've employed a work around for my OBiTalk number (which to be honest is probably the only person that's likely to call atm) with a fixed route.
