Title: IP Handsets on Obi202 with ObiPlus Basic?
Post by: Wino on January 16, 2013, 10:27:22 AM
Is it possible to use IP Handsets on the Obi202 with ObiPlus Basic?

I am using the free version 3CX PBX for my small business and only have a couple of IP Handsets (Yealink) and a couple of CallCentric lines.  I have been very happy with the setup for several years, but it is really overkill for my needs.

I am thinking of switching to a IP PBX appliance such as Obi or Grandstream.  My objective is to not have to run a dedicated PC for the 3CX.  I don't have any use for the 2 analog ports on the Obi since I only use IP handsets.

Thought I would post the reply from Obi Support:

1.   You can use the 4 Cisco IP phones we support. You can have up to 2 IP phone for OBiPLUS Lite. Please click on the link below for more information:

2.   OBiPLUS does not support Yealink IP phones.
