Title: OBi voice mail took over my answering machine
Post by: mellaby on February 05, 2013, 05:14:34 PM
I normally use my Panasonic answering machine set to toll saver (4 rings no messages). Today I came home and found my handset with a voice mail notice. I never use this feature so I tried to log into my voice mail and it would not work (said my P\W was wrong). I checked out my phone  and it goes to voice mail. I also noticed I had about 4 sec delay to get dial tone. I rebooted my router and OBi and everything is fine now. Would this be a glitch with my setup or maybe it was Google or OBi?

Obi does not provide voicemail.  Whatever service provider you use with the OBi may provide voicemail.  A proper answer to this question would require more information about your service providers.
